I have an awesome story to tell you, one of my friends had pain in their back so I told them to let me try to help by massaging the area and it worked! They told me I helped them. They were also coughing badly and I rubbed vicks on their throat and chest and they stopped coughing for a couple of hours. When I was massaging their back I used the tai chi hand movement techniques you have been teaching in class, and I finally see how it applies to massage therapy. Thanks alot for the teachings!

Thank you so much for the great gentle yoga & tai chi classes. You have such a great positive attitude and it brings a lot to the class. Since taking your class, my flexibility and balance have improved alot. I feel more energized and motivated and I sleep much better. Even my life is more in balance. Recently my chiropractor has extended the time between appointments and when I do need adjustments, I adjust easier. We are certainly fortunate to have you as our instructor at the Woodmont Golf Country Club and I am very thankful.

An email from Danny....

I want to personally tell you how much I appreciate being able to take these classes, your teaching style and our friendship that has grown throughout the year and been pushed along by our interests which share commonalities.

 
Over the past year I have benefited tremendously from Qigong and Tai Chi by becoming more relaxed yet @ the same time more focused.  An inner calmness that comes from an increased awareness of my Chi has been a great effect of the practice.  I’ve enjoyed greatly learning how to use my controlled breathing to harness my energy and clear my mind of nothing but focus on the energy inside me and of those around me.  My lower body as well as my core have gained strength, stability, and balance.  My coordination and agility have increased.  I’ve lost weight, 30lbs. in the last year and half and gained good friends.

Yoga has healed many nagging back pains I experienced in the past due to sitting in front of a computer all day as part of my work.. Yoga has increased my confidence, well roundedness and ability to deal w/ the emotional stress of personal and professional life.  I feel invigorated after each class.  My flexibility, resistance to injury and recovery time from injury have all improved as a result of my Yoga practice with you.  All these things have caused me to improve my performance as a lifelong soccer player and increased my enjoyment of the sport tremendously.   
 
My overall quality of life has improved in the year since I began down this road of Qigong, Tai Chi, and Yoga and I fully expect to strive to continue down this path for the rest of my life.
