Equine Energy Healing

Sheri Gilburth’s Equine Energy Healing Sessions combine the gentle ultra-violet healing touch of Reiki with her 20 years of living in the horse world to support and heal horses in need.  Her equine clients fall into three major categories of healing needs.

1.      1. Horses with physical ailments such as lameness, infections, digestive concerns, chronic pain, arthritis, or other illness.  The benefits of Energy Healing in conjunction with veterinary care include decreased inflammation, fever, and pain, increased immune system, and sense of well-being, and a shortening of recovery time.

2.      2.Horses in need of balancing and calming from past abuse and trauma, relocation/travel anxiety, moody behaviors such as biting, balking, kicking, and cribbing, or an overall high strung/anxious nature.  Since horses are flight animals they MUST know they are safe in order to feel comfortable and unafraid.  Energy Healing benefits these horses by calming the fight or flight nervous system and relaxing the sensitive equine mind to a space of feeling safe and secure in their environment.

3.      3.Energy Healing sessions are a wonderful addition to any training program in order to better connect the horse and his/her human care taker. Benefits to the horse and rider include decreasing tension and stress from the body and mind of both horse and rider, deepening the horse/human care taker bond and communication, and for the competitive horse/rider team, an increase in performance and level of abilities together.
